8hr Groom Certification Course. This course will cover all the important aspects required to care for your horse. Pre/Post Ride Horse Care, Tack Fitting, Blanketing, Identifying Injuries, Handling Difficult Horses, Boots, Blanketing, Identifying and Treating Thrush/Mud Fever, Horse Stretches, Proper Cool Out, Seasonal Care, How to quickly build a bond with the horse you are working with, Tips and Tricks for better horse and rider turn out and much more..

Each Week is progressive leading up to the last day which is a testing day to earn your certification. This is a pre-requisite course for students that would like to volunteer, are in or are moving up to Rider Level 3 or higher where they need to be 100% independent with the horses.

This is a required course to register for next level up as Assistant Show Groom, and Show Groom Certification courses, as well as our Horse Ownership Course which will be offered Spring 2023.

Equine Standard First Aid Certification. This 8hr certification course is ideal for anyone that wants to dive in and learn what to do in an emergency with their horse. Practical hands on skills will be taught, from prevention to treatment.

A must for anyone that is an avid rider, that currently or in the future would like to lease or own a horse, volunteer, or work with horses in any capacity. Topics will include: wide variety of common injuries and how to deal with them, what to do while you await the vet, taking vitals, administering medication, lameness, colic, and much more.

This course is a pre-requisite to Advanced First Aid Certification Program and highly recommended for all horse lovers!

Level 1 Certification 8 Week Course you will dive into the world of building better relationships with the horses, how horses learn, and what is needed to develop, and train them.

Level 1 Topics include: horse behaviour, handling pushy and difficult horses, how to train your horse to have better manners, how to establish trust, confidence, and leadership with your horse, desensitizing, how to train your horse to learn to override their fight/flight response and so much more.

Level 1 is a pre-requisite for anyone that wants to take our horse ownership course, is a perfect compliment to our Groom and Equine First Aid Certification programs and a must have course for anyone that handles and rides horses!

Youth Introduction to Equine Vet School for ages 7 to 15. A fun, inspiring, hands on class designed to introduce participants to horse health care. Learning about all about role of a veterinarian, safety around sick/injured horses, identifying illness, how to care for a sick/injured horse, bandaging, nutrition and so much more.

Activities are fun and engaging, and create curiosity while giving youth a look into what it takes to truly care for horses and what a possible career in veterinary medicine may involve ! Hands on program with the horses is eye opening and designed to educate and inspire children.

10 Weeks. Starting January 5th through to March 9th

Youth Horse Club is a fun, engaging, hands on club for youth that love horses!! Ages 6 to 12 yeas old. Participants will receive fun riding sessions, learn showmanship skills, make friends, and participate with horses in a fun educational way that is different from our regular riding lessons and training sessions.

Yearly Membership will run from April to October. The fee for the year includes all sessions, 7 mounted games riding lessons, 6 showman ship sessions with a show, guest speakers, educational sessions, badges, 1 trip to the Ranch and more.
