With an interesting and divers background Emily first learnt to ride hunters and was lucky to learn all about the development, training and what it took to compete top show horses on the AQHA circuit in the USA in western pleasure, equitation, hunter under saddle, trail etc., She then moved on to Show Jumping and later to Fox Hunting, Dressage and successfully competing in Canada and the USA in Eventing up to the 2 Star Level. Dressage being the foundation for all riding she has been lucky to train on quality horses in the upper levels of dressage and even enjoys going calf sorting on her reining horse. As a teen Emily drove a team of work horses, would spend hours bareback on any horse she was allowed to ride, from a young age was breaking and training green and problem horses, teaching lessons, caring for large numbers of horses, and even trimming hooves! Any opportunity to ride and learn she took and gained incredible knowledge and experience working in various roles from: trail guide, stable hand, working student, show groom , coach, to barn manager and more.
Emily, her horses and her students have achieve much success on the local Jumper and Dressage Circuits and Nationally in Eventing. She remains committed and dedicated to her own riding, education, horses and students. Always looking for area's of improvement and happy to share her knowledge, experience, and passion with others. Emily is easy going, driven, motivated, goal oriented and always working on providing great learning opportunities to help not only herself and her horses but all the coaches who teach and students that ride at the farm.. From attending clinics, having special guest coaches, trips and more.. She keeps the barn's schedule busy!
Emily has been very fortunate to ride with and learn from some of the best in the industry including; Jimmy Wofford, Phillip Dutton, Paul Popiel, David Wilding-Davies, Denny Emerson and many more.. She loves developing young talent especially Thoroughbreds and has a particular nack for being able to quickly assess and read unfamiliar horses and adapt the training to suit each individual horse. Emily enjoys and takes great pride and satisfaction in helping her students to reach their goals!! She has helped countless people turn horses into a career by helping them to pass their EC rider levels and coaching certification exams, and learning what it takes to successfully, coach, train, and run a barn.
Emily is a strong supporter of her riders and the local community. Her philanthropic view and efforts have had a huge impact. She is always ready and happy to help her local community, her riders, and staff.

In Memory of Jeff Mould
You will always be in our hearts.
MOULD, Jeffrey C. (Jeff) Peacefully and surrounded with the warmth and love of his family, in Ottawa on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at the age of 56, following a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved son of Clarence and Beatrice. Loving father of Tyler and Sunny and special dad to Daniel. Grandfather of Alexandre, Skyler and Xsena. Dear brother to Garry (Margaret), Suzanne (Brian Smith), Dennis (Christine) and Trevor (Marie). Uncle to Shannon, Matthew, Nathan and Elliot and great uncle to Paige, Reese, Ben and Maxwell. He will fondly be remembered by his dear friend Dawn and her children, Emily (Laurence) and Elliot. Jeff will be greatly missed by his family and many friends and all those who came to know him at the Royale Equestrian Centre where he applied his skilled craftsmanship, knowledge, love for the farm, and total dedication to assisting in making it a world class facility. It was Jeff=s wish and determination to remain at home, and he did, until the last week of his illness at which time he succumbed to hospitalization. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the palliative care team of the Irving Greenberg Family Cancer Centre at Q.C.H, and at The Ottawa Mission Hospice for the exemplary care and support provided to Jeff during the final days of his life.

Jeff was such a character and made a huge impact on our farm, he will be missed by so many here including the pony Peaches. He would tell everyone that she was his pony! He always worked hard and did everything he could to help us maintain our farm, he worked relentlessly and loved to give us a "hard time" about it! We miss him dearly and we were blessed to have had him in our lives.
We have dedicated our water complex to Jeff he started to build it but unfortunately became too ill so his brothers stepped in and finished the jump to make us a beautiful water jump! Just before he was hospitalized Jeff got to see the finished jump along with the kids jumping it at our September Jumping for Jeff Fun Show it meant so much to him and everyone that was there it was truely a special day.
