Youth Horse Club

Make friends while having fun with our horses! Horse Club is a fun, hands on class where participants will learn all about horses, each badges, participate in mounted games, and even attend field trips! Starting April 5th Click here for more details

Rookie Riders

A fun low cost introductory program designed by Equestrian Canada to build strength and confidence with horses! Ages 6 to 12 years old. This fun program incorporates safety, handling, horse body language, practice on barrel horses, ground exercises, and learning to ride on a lunge line.

Introduction to Horseback Riding 

Learn to ride horses! Youth and adult options. A fun 1hr program that includes safety, handling, grooming, terminology and horseback riding! With 30 min learning the basics on the ground and 30min in the saddle. Each lesson is progressive and designed to provide a fun safe quality introduction to the world of horses and horseback riding. Once you have completed the intro program participants will move onto level 1 and work their way up the levels.

Tiny Tot’s Lessons

Ages 4 to 6. Perfect first experience with horses! Fun class for parents and children alike. Designed to teach safety, build confidence, and develop basic riding skills though games and team work on horseback. Parents will work with their child, and helps support and lead their horse during the class. No previous experience required!

Youth Large Animal Veterinary School

Fun, interactive, hands on, education and eye opening course is suitable for anyone that loves horses! Learn all about how to care for horses and farm animals including; how to treat and dress wounds, taking vital sings, signs of illness, bandaging, nutrition and digestion and more..

Private Lunge Line Lessons

Perfect for young beginner riders to learn balance, control, position, and confidence while on a horse/pony while on the lunge line or in the round pen. One on one with the coach. Ideal for the rider that may need additional attention and shorter lesson duration. These lessons are tailored to each individual students needs. Lessons are 30min long and suitable for youth learning to ride.

Regular Weekly Lessons

Royale Equestrian Centre offers regular weekly lessons private, semi-private and groups for students from Levels 1 though to 8+. With a mix of Dressage and Jumping, or Dressage only. Once rider graduates to level 3 they are expected to be well versed and capable of arriving early to their lesson to care for, groom and tack up their horse before and after each lesson.

We are a friendly barn with a focus on quality horse care, rider safety, and education. We believe providing a well rounded education and solid foundation is paramount for future success. Our coaches have extensive experience and currently working on or have achieved their coaching certification though the Certified Horsemanship Association Coaches Level 1 to 4 and/or Equestrian Canada Instructor though to Competition Coach Specialist.

One Time Horseback Riding Lesson or Assessment

(Aged 4 - Adult)

30 minute trial session $85+ tax
Suitable for beginner riders to experienced riders. Try out horseback riding for the first time in a safe environment or come out for an assessment ride to join one of our programs. The assessment lesson will give us the opportunity to assess your skill level, discuss goals and make a plan to get you in the right lesson for your needs. 

Monthly Riding Lessons

Lead Line (Ages 4+ )

30min private on the lunge line/lead or in round pen. Suitable for beginners or students with special need/requirements. .
